Initial Setup
Step 1: Charge Your Printer
Before first use, fully charge your C9 printer:
- Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the port on the printer
- Plug the other end into a USB power source (5V adapter recommended)
- Allow 2-3 hours for a full charge
- The indicator light will show charging status
Step 2: Load the Paper Roll
- Open the paper compartment on the printer
- Insert the thermal paper roll following the directional arrows inside the compartment
- Ensure the paper is inserted straight — inserting at an angle can cause jams
- Pull out approximately 2 cm of paper so the auto-feed mechanism can grip it
- Close the paper compartment securely
Step 3: Download the FunPrint App
- iPhone Users: Open the App Store and search for “Fun Print”
- Android Users: Open Google Play Store and search for “Fun Print”
- Install the app on your device
Step 4: Connect via Bluetooth
- Turn on your C9 printer by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone
- Open the FunPrint app
- Go to “Me” → “Connect” and select your C9 from the list of available devices
- Once connected, you’re ready to print!
Important: When you open the app for the first time, tap “Allow” for all the permissions the app requests — otherwise, it may cause Bluetooth connection issues or prevent printing.
Note: The C9 can only connect to one app at a time. If FunPrint is connected in the background, other compatible apps (such as iBleem or Dolewa) will not be able to detect the printer. To switch apps, disconnect from FunPrint first, fully close it, then open the other app.

Print Quality Tips
- Use genuine thermal paper rolls for the best results
- Adjust the print darkness in the app settings (Light / Medium / Dark)
- For photos, “Medium” or “Dark” settings usually produce the best contrast
- Keep thermal paper away from heat and direct sunlight to preserve print quality
- Printed content is thermally sensitive — text retention is approximately 1 year
Troubleshooting
Printer Won’t Turn On
- Ensure the battery is charged — connect to power and wait at least 30 minutes
- Press and hold the power button for a full 3 seconds
Bluetooth Connection Issues
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone
- Close and reopen the FunPrint app
- Restart the printer and try reconnecting
- Ensure no other app is currently connected to the printer
- Stay within Bluetooth range (approximately 10 meters)
Poor Print Quality
- Check that thermal paper is loaded correctly (smooth side facing the print head)
- Increase the darkness setting in the app
- Try a fresh paper roll
- Clean the print head gently with a soft, dry cloth
Paper Jam
- Open the paper compartment and carefully remove any jammed paper
- Reload the paper straight, ensuring at least 2 cm extends beyond the compartment
- Close the compartment and try again
Safety Guidelines
- Charging: Use only the provided charging cable with a 5V power adapter
- Print Head: Do not touch the print head — it gets hot during operation
- Paper Cutter: The tear blade is sharp; handle with care
- Battery: Never disassemble, puncture, or expose to fire. Discontinue use if the battery swells
- Environment: Avoid using in high-humidity or high-temperature environments
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place when not in use
